A newborn's death could have been prevented if a sleep pod was delivered 24 hours earlier, a Coroner has found. The death has led to a recommendation that funding is considered to give all mothers of newborn babies one of the safe sleeping pods at birth. A 1-month-old baby sleeping safely in a wahakura.
