The Royal Windsor Triathlon will celebrate its 35th anniversary on June 14 with a new addition to its race day – a new standalone 10k run, intended to widen its accessibility. Over the years, the Royal Windsor Triathlon has welcomed professional triathletes and Olympians, including Stuart Hayes, Michelle Dillon and Emma Pallant-Browne. The Royal Windsor Triathlon is organised and delivered by RunThrough, which also runs several other running events in the area. Matt Wood, co-founder of RunThrough, said: “The Royal Windsor Triathlon has always been a jewel in the crown of British multisport. “As a team that lives and breathes running events, we see this as the perfect way to honour 35 years of history while growing the Royal Windsor Triathlon brand for the future.”Race director Ross Franks added: “We are very fortunate to work with a fantastic group of local stakeholders who share our vision for the Royal Windsor Triathlon.
