International business participants coming into the kingdom for meetings, incentive travel, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) now have access to additional privileges when they arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. These cover special discounts on the use of airport lounges and related airport facilities and duty-free shopping, according to the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Tceb). At the airport, the Miracle Lounge (located at Concourse D) offers special benefits for MICE travellers with discounts on lounge, limousine and dayroom services. MICE travellers can also enjoy special offers from King Power with discounts on duty-free products, spas, and restaurants in nine MICE cities across Thailand including Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang airports, Chiang Mai, and Hadyai. Tceb said it is working with Airports of Thailand Plc and the Immigration Bureau to upgrade MICE lane and related services to better facilitate MICE travellers.
