Twizel Area School's new principal Kate Staniford will take up her role at the start of term 1 in 2021. A new principal has been appointed to Twizel Area School which received $21 million in Government funding for a complete rebuild earlier this year. Staniford, currently principal of Catlins Area School in Southland, was deputy principal of Opihi College in Temuka before that.
