New principal back on old stomping ground in HighburyMurray Wilson/ Fairfax NZ Teena Johnson is the new principal at Somerset Crescent School. Teena Johnson grew up in Highbury, and is now thrilled to be stepping into the principal's role at the suburb's Somerset Crescent School. Johnson says she stands on tall shoulders, in departing principal Robyn Tootill. This term, teaching staff start working under the Innovative Learning Environment philosophy, which encourages collaboration and shared classes and for pupils to take the lead independently. Somerset Crescent School has about 230 pupils this year, 14 teaching staff, and 11 support staff.
