New office to help refugee claimants in Winnipeg's inner cityNewsDuration 2:07A non-profit that helps refugees and immigrants connect with support services opened a new office in downtown Winnipeg Friday. The Healthy Muslim Families office on Edmonton Street serves refugee claimants from the inner city. It will help them in filing asylum claims, offer mental health services, English classes and employment skill programs. CBC’s Zubina Ahmed visited the new space.
