Insuli­n Glargi­ne U300 promis­es stable blood sugar contro­l throug­hout the day and nightSanofi, a French multinational pharmaceutical company, launched on Friday its next generation basal insulin in Pakistan. “Insulin Glargine U300” was introduced to public at an event attended by leading doctors in Karachi. The new product, designed to act over 24 hours, seeks to address this unmet need to improve the control of blood sugar in adults living with diabetes. Manufactured at Sanofi’s ‘Insulin City’ in Germany, the product is available across the country on prescription. According to the pharmaceutical company, the insulin promises stable blood sugar control throughout the day and night, offering dosage flexibility and providing empowerment to patients.
