'New entry' tops engagement chart as monthly IPSOS figures revealed


A weekly newspaper website topped the table for user engagement in December after entering the monthly ‘chart’ for the first time. However Newsquest titles continued to dominate the rest of the ‘Top 10′ for user engagement, with Norwich’s eveningnews24.co.uk, Bradford’s thetelegraphandargus.co.uk and warringtonguardian.co.uk all seeing big year-on-year increases in minutes per user. Birmingham Live pipped the MEN to the top of the page view chart with 55.4m views to its Manchester stablemate’s 54.9m.
