New coronavirus wedding rules mean you can actually only invite 13 people

The Government introduced tougher restrictions this week and from tomorrow, only 15 guests will be allowed at a wedding, which has been cut from 30. The Government has said you can have only 15 people at the ceremony and reception. Wedding venues also have a legal obligation to be Covid-19 safe and therefore implement all guidelines set out by the government. So if you are content to postpone your wedding and not cancel completely, it would be good to do so. Wedding venues should be refunding consumers in situations where they cannot provide the ceremony envisaged.
