PETALING JAYA: The Sala cluster has been identified as a new one in Kedah, one of the three clusters with cases recorded in the state. “The first case of the Sala cluster (case 9148) is in the Yan district in Kedah where a Malaysian man was identified as Covid-19 positive on Aug 13, via a clinical surveillance system for Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital there. He added the three cases in the cluster yesterday were all family relatives of the index case.
