New citizens (clockwise from top left) William, Emily, Dominic, Lisa and Laura, Fortes, originally of Britain, stand outside the Municipal Chambers following a citizenship ceremony yesterday. After living in Dunedin for four years, the Fortes family say they have ''fallen in love'' with the city. Lisa Fortes said after swapping city life in Britain for a year in Balclutha, the opportunities offered by Dunedin attracted the family to their new home. Benefits of Dunedin life included ''lots of sporting opportunities'', the Dunedin Botanic Garden and ''fantastic golf courses''. However, it was the size of the city that made it the perfect fit, Mrs Fortes said.
