Kujendra Lal Tripura is the state minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts affairs. He was appointed as the state minister for information and broadcasting. Patuakhali Awami League leader Md Mohibur Rahman has been given the responsibility of state minister for disaster management and relief. The principal of Alhaj Jalal Uddin Degree College in Kalapara’s Dhulashar, he is also the vice-president of the district Awami League. Sylhet district Awami League leader Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury will be the expatriate welfare and overseas employment minister.
