New beginnings for Kaiwaka foodie celeb Amber RoseSupplied Amber Rose grew up using seasonal heritage fruit and vegetables out of her parents Kaiwaka gardens. When Amber Rose was a youngster she ran barefoot and wild with her brothers on their Kaiwaka property. Heavily into organic permaculture gardening, on top of running Koanga Gardens, Baxter also kept bee hives, using the honey instead of sugar, even making candles from the beeswax. Rose released Nourish: Mind, Body & Soul in collaboration with her friend Sadie Frost and another woman Holly Davidson last year. While her Kaiwaka upbringing instilled a love of the northern area it is her friendship with the Guinness family that has now brought Rose home.
