OPINION: The latest series of Covid-19 blunders is a timely reminder that the entire premise of the lockdown was hubris. We've now called in the army to patrol the border; because using soldiers to control a civilian population always works well. Stuff New Zealand has been fiercely fighting a coronavirus outbreak since its first case in late February. Ultimately, if we want to sell stuff, we need to visit the people who do the buying, and they need to come here. As the rest of the world moves on from Covid-hysteria, we will be left behind.
