Peter Dickson, formerly of Invercargill, won the New Zealand Super Saloon Championships at Waikaraka Park in Auckland recently. Ex-Southlander Peter Dickson has won speedway’s national super saloon championships and now he’s eyeing the South Island and North Island titles. “It’s rare to get these jobs in New Zealand.”Cowling Performance owns the super saloon car that Dickson drives. He is looking forward to catching up with family when competing at the South Island Championships in Dunedin on March 5. Fifteen days later, Dickson will be in action at the North Island Championships in Napier.
