New Zealand shop owner said he is living in a 'third world country' after robberies

A supermarket owner has called New Zealand a 'third world country' after his store was robbed three times in just 90 days. When that failed, they went to Mr Sandhu's cold room and stole boxes of alcohol. Mr Sandhu said he feels like he's living in a 'third world country' because his store is being robbed so often but police have failed to respond effectively. We support our community, so we aren't just a business,' Mr Sandhu said. Waikato west area commander inspector Will Loughrin told Stuff one adult and two minors have been arrested over a robbery of Mr Sandhu's shop in March.
