BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe (AP) " New Zealand bowled Zimbabwe out for 164 on the first day of the first test on Thursday, with left-arm seamer Neil Wagner claiming a career-best 6-41. Wagner took three wickets in an over and Zimbabwe slumped to 72-8 before an 85-run stand for the ninth wicket between Donald Tiripano and Prince Masvaure. Zimbabwe lost four wickets with the total on 72 as Craig Ervine was dismissed by Mitchell Santner (2-16). Wagner's aggressive pace bowling gave New Zealand an immediate advantage in the first of two tests at Queens Sports Club. Tailender Tiripano was 49 not out in his second test and Masvaure made 42 on his debut.
