An emerging world of home-made craft cider has been celebrated by over 1000 bubbly enthusiasts at the first New Zealand Cider Festival in Nelson. More than 80 cider varieties were poured by 20 different Kiwi cider companies in "the most obvious" town to hold a cider festival, said organiser Ali Lawley.
