A New York rapper was shot dead in front of a Queens club where he was hosting a birthday party, cops say. Brooklyn-based artist Frank Snyder, 35, who raps under the name 'Hollywood Play' and was friends with Cardi B, was just leaving Tavern Lounge in Queens when shots rang out at 3.15am Sunday morning. No one else was hurt in the incident and Snyder was the only one shot. Cardi B paid tribute the rapper Sunday evening sharing an old video of the two of them and writing: 'Rest easy @Hollywoodplay'. I just want to know why--and who did this to my child,' his mother Debra Snyder said to News 12.
