Starting on Tuesday, March 30, all New Yorkers aged 30 and older will be able to schedule appointments and get vaccinated, lowering the age threshold from age 50 and older. New York is lowering its coronavirus vaccine eligibility from all adults aged 50 and older to those aged 30 and older. In New York City, 27 percent of residents have had at least one dose and 15 percent have completed their series. An average of 2.7 million people are being vaccinated every day, with 3.5 million doses administered on Saturday and 3.4 million on Friday.
