Ayala was infamously jailed in 2006 after falsely claiming to have found a severed finger in a portion of Wedny’s chili - hurting the chain’s reputation and costing millions ( Copyright 2021 The Associated Press. Her husband, who had supplied her with the finger, was sentenced to 12 years and four months behind bars.
