[+] press conference to introduce Phil Jackson as the President of the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on March 18, 2014 in New York City. Just two days before the NBA's trade deadline, the New York Knicks have parted ways with president Steve Mills. The Knicks announced on Tuesday afternoon that Mills will leave his position as President of the New York Knicks, effective immediately and that the organization will undertake an immediate search for a new team president. In an intriguing, if not predictable, development, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that reports that Knicks owner James Dolan is targeting Toronto president Masai Ujiri to ultimately oversee New York's operations. Before the start of the 2013-14 season, the Knicks announced Mills would return, as the executive vice president and GM of the organization.
