New York state should do more to prevent sexual harassment, including making bystander intervention training mandatory for state employees, a pair of Democratic lawmakers said Thursday. Assemblywoman Aravella Simotas and incoming state Sen. Alessandra Biaggi proposed the new requirement among a package of six bills they plan to introduce when the state Legislature reconvenes in January.
