This year, more than a million people are expected to crowd Times Square for a chance to see the ball drop up close, while millions more will watch the countdown on live television. But before the ball drops to ring in 2024, several performances will air on various networks. A commercial-free broadcast will also feature exclusive interviews, original content and hourly countdowns from the center of the Times Square in Manhattan. CBSCBS will present “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash,’’ hosted by country music star and Grammy-nominated artist Elle King and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith. CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen” will stream live on CNN Max and for pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps.
