The second-largest lottery prize ever won in Michigan has just been claimed after a New Year’s Day drawing – solving a six-month mystery. The Michigan Lottery announced a group called The Breakfast Club as the winner of an $842 million Powerball jackpot. An attorney representing the lottery club spoke on their behalf but didn’t say how many members are part of the group. “The club members have felt many emotions since realizing their ticket was the one,” the group’s attorney said. The Breakfast Club members are recipients of the sixth-largest Powerball prize ever won.
