Photo: Abbey PalmerFoodstuffs NZ says a deep clean has been carried out after Southern Public Health confirmed a customer with Covid-19 visited its New World Windsor store in Invercargill on Thursday 12th March between 4pm-5pm. "Public Health has advised that the risk to customers and staff is considered very low. "Additional deep cleaning of the store was undertaken as soon as we were informed and entailed special cleaning of all public surfaces including trolleys, baskets and check outs,’’ she said. The store staff would remain "vigilant’’ in terms of keeping themselves and customers safe.
