A new music festival, 'Wild Roots' is launching in Co. Sligo on the 2021 May bank holiday weekend. The inaugural weekend will feature Irish artists like Soda Blonde, Daithí, Damien Dempsey, and King Kong Company. The first Wild Roots Festival will take place on the beautiful shores of Lough Gill, Co. Sligo. Commenting on the new festival, Wild Roots Director, Neil O’Connell said:"We have reimagined the festival experience, lovers of the outdoors can take a swim, have a paddleboard lesson, or hoist a sail on the majestic freshwater lake made famous by W.B Yeats.
