Walter Scott, right, has joined Wellington Phoenix from Perth Glory, where he made just two appearances. Wellington Phoenix have signed Australian teenager who previously played under coach Ufuk Talay. After finding opportunities hard to come by at Perth Glory, 19-year-old Walter Scott has reunited with Talay in Wellington, where he will provide cover for the club's most promising talent, Liberato Cacace. Scott played under Talay when he was the first-choice left-back in the Australian team that contested the Under-19 AFC Championships in Indonesia last year. The addition of Scott could spell the end of Tom Doyle's time at the Phoenix.
