United Airlines can’t seem to catch a break. To begin with, as of June 18, 2018, United will only ship dogs and cats under the PetSafe program. Although Qantas does not allow pets to travel in the cabin, it does transport pets internationally as freight. Qantas has some of the same restrictions as United, although brachycephalic dogs are allowed on flights of less than 5 hours. Like United, American will not allow checked pets to travel to/through/from PHX, TUS, LAS or PSP during the spring and summer months.
