New Two-Part Documentary On Muhammed Ali, Executive Produced By LeBron James, Airs On HBO Tonight

What’s My Name: Muhammed Ali , a two-part documentary directed by Antoine Fuqua and executive produced by LeBron James, will have its television debut tonight on HBO; its world premiere was at the recent Tribeca Film Festival. “Muhammad Ali transcended sports in a way the world had never seen before,” said James. When I was a kid we’d all dance around trying to be Muhammad Ali. I didn’t want the audience to feel like we were teaching them about Muhammad Ali. The documentary--which will be available on HBO, HBO GO, HBO NOW, HBO on Demand and partners’ streaming platforms—was produced with the cooperation of the Muhammad Ali family estate and Jamie Salter, founder, chairman and CEO of Authentic Brands Group, which has been active in preserving the Ali legacy and brand.
