Chief Administrative Secretary Dennis Itumbi has threatened to go to court and sue Nation Media Group after what they published on Sunday about president William Ruto's Chief Administrative Secretaries. Through his lawyer, Dennis Itumbi has noted that the Nation Media Group needs to apologise to the CASs after they published a story that ruins the reputation of the 50 of them. In the Sunday publication both in Sunday Nation and Taifa Jumapili, NMG had claimed that certain Chief Administrative Secretaries were working despite a court order stopping them. Itumbi's lawyer, Adrian Kamotho Njenga, accused Nation Media Group of relentlessly attempting to tarnish Itumbi's image by publishing baseless allegations in order to portray him as someone who disregards the law. Dennis Itumbi has since demanded an “unequivocal public apology” from Nation Media Group over an alleged defamation story published on its editions of Taifa Leo and Sunday Nation.
