A new report from Cylance reveals some of the trends and prevailing threats businesses and individuals should be watching for. Cylance leveraged anonymized threat data gathered from customers between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017 and analyzed it to create the 2017 Threat Report. The 26-page report provides a pretty comprehensive look at the primary threats Cylance identified, but there are a few findings in particular that stand out. “Part of the exponential growth of malware, and the bulk of the attacks on various industries, can be attributed to the continued rise in polymorphic and single-use malware,” according to the Threat Report.
