Ahead of this week’s Microsoft’s launch event on October 2nd, the final details of the next Surface Pro machine have been revealed. The leak (reported by Tinthe.vn, via SlashGear) presents Microsoft’s curious choice around the use of USB-C. Although the newer designs of the Surface Laptop and the Surface Go feature the new port, this year’s Surface Pro will continue to come with ‘full size’ USB-A ports. Alongside the new Surface Pro, this week’s event is also expected to be the launch of the next generation Surface Laptop and Surface Studio. The biggest question may be if Microsoft reverts back to numerical designations ad calls it the Surface Pro 6, or sticks with a subtitled year for identification, making it the Surface Pro (2018).
