The online survey commissioned by accounting software maker Sage found that 76% of respondents said they believe CFOs drive digital transformation in their business. The survey noted that the duties of the CFO have rapidly changed in the last five years. The Sage survey interviewed 500 financial decision-makers nationwide, including CFOs, finance directors, accountants, and controllers. While basic CFO duties like tracking cash flow and forecasting finances are not going away, the Sage study revealed that the job has become more digitally focused.
