New Plymouth Foodbank needs help to restock the shelvesGRANT MATTHEW/STUFF The New Plymouth Community Foodbank's new manager Sharon Wills, is asking for donations of pasta, cereal, rice, spreads and biscuits, to help replenish the shelves. The New Plymouth Foodbank has empty shelves where the pasta, cereal and rice should be. As winter bites the foodbank has put out a call for pasta, cereal, rice, spreads, such as honey or peanut butter, and biscuits, manager Sharon Wills said. The foodbank is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9am and 2pm for donations and between 12.30pm and 2pm for clients. Before starting at the foodbank Wills was manager of Taranaki Adult Literacy for 12 years.
