KUALA LUMPUR: Newly appointed Perikatan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has chaired his first supreme council meeting at the Gerakan headquarters here Saturday (March 14). Ahmad Samsuri, who is also Terengganu Mentri Besar, said that the meeting will settle a few outstanding issues, including that of the Opposition Leader. Accompanying Ahmad Samsuri were Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor and PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan. Earlier, Gerakan president Datuk Dr Dominic Lau and MIPP president P. Punithan too arrived to attend the meeting. There are 15 in the new line-up of the Perikatan supreme council, which was restructured after Muhyiddin stepped down on Jan 1.
