As HMD Global prepares to launch the next wave of Nokia branded smartphones, more details are emerging of its plans for the American market. Once more it is the FCC that has delighted those on the hunt for clues about upcoming hardware, as it notes that a new Nokia handset has been certified. Ewan SpenceThe FCC details follow on from leaked images that confirmed the existence of a Nokia 9 prototype ‘in the wild’. There’s no direct indication from the FCC filing which model has been certified, although the internal code of TA-1004 has been widely associated with the aforementioned Nokia 9 handset. HMD Global are going to bring the Nokia 9 to the US market.
