New NI Football League chair Chris Brindley MBE says he is prepared to deliver an ‘exciting future’ for the League after being appointed to his new role. The Manchester-born businessman will head up the Board after an extensive career that has seen him work with the Premier League, Warwickshire County Cricket and the Rugby League World Cup. “I am honoured to be appointed as Chair of the NIFL Board. Football is a passion of mine, and I’ve seen the journey that the NI Football League has been on in recent years, and I feel that my experience will help guide the league into an exciting future,” he said. “I’m absolutely delighted to have someone of the experience, knowledge, and skillset of Chris on board,” said NIFL chief executive Gerard Lawlor.
