There were 49 people aboard the Greyhound bus. Multiple casualties reported after a crash involving a Greyhound bus and semi in western New Mexico, per New Mexico State Police. This is viewer video sent to @KOB4 from the scene on I-40 near Thoreau. Huff said the semi’s trailer was upside down and “shredded to pieces,” and the front of the Greyhound bus was smashed, with many of the seats pressed together. Chris Jones was headed west on Interstate 40 when he caught his first glimpse of the semi turned over.
