MALACCA: The new 472-unit apartment and commercial development at Marina Point will bring economic and tourism development towards the Klebang seafront area from the now-congested city centre. Datuk Seri Dr Pang Chow Huat, the managing director of Sanichi Technology Berhad said the Marina Point project is the first of its kind in the state that provides freehold investment with an attached shopping mall. "As of the end of last year, 50 percent of Marina Point's apartment units have been sold and we are confident of all units being sold before completion." At the launch, three-time Olympic silver medallist Datuk Lee Chong Wei was also handed the keys to his apartment at Marina Point. Dr Pang said this was in recognition of the world number one's contributions to the sport of badminton throughout his glittering career.
