The MP had on Wednesday appeared on a talk show on NTV where she insisted the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) should slash salaries well, adding ” I want to be paid well. On Thursday morning, an apologetic Gathoni wa Muchomba appeared on Citizen TV where she said that she will now accept any decision that will be made by the SRC and the Parliamentary Service Commission on MPs pay. So anything to do with salaries discussions in parliament, for me whatever will be decided and delivered to us, I will gladly and humbly accept it and move on,” said Gathoni wa Muchomba.
