New KCC cited high debt on the account of the retailer for halting their supplies of all types of milk to Tuskys. The milk firm stopped the supplies after the company exceeded its credit payment period of 60 days. AdvertisementMr Sigey did not disclose the amount of debt owed to New KCC, but said the milk processor has monthly business worth Sh80 million with the retailer. Manufacturers have already requested the government to urgently intervene and oversee the payment of money owed to Tuskys supermarkets’ suppliers to avoid a full-blown debt crisis.
