TRENTON, N.J.—A New Jersey man has been charged after police say his 5-year-old son brought 30 packs of heroin to school. Police say an International Academy of Trenton teacher thought the kindergartner was playing with a candy wrapper last week when she looked in his lunch box and found 29 other packets of the drug. The boy was taken to a hospital and tested negative for opiates. NJ.com reports Maurice Leonard of Trenton, was arrested Wednesday night and has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child. It’s not known if he has a lawyer.
