There are three new outbreaks in Hamilton, including two retirement homes and another men's shelter. One staff member has tested positive at each of retirement homes — Chartwell Deerview Crossing Retirement Residence and Amica Stoney Creek — as well as at the Good Shepherd Men's Shelter on Mary Street. There are three other shelter locations currently experiencing outbreaks, including the Good Shepherd Men's Shelter Cathedral location, the Mission Services Men's Centre and Good Sheppard Women's Services. Ongoing outbreaksAs of Sunday, there are 80 new COVID-19 cases in Hamilton and 741 active cases. Seven people have tested positive as linked to an outbreak on the sixth floor of its satellite health facility.
