This is a feature that is popular in BRIC countries - one of the regions where Samsung’s phablet range is particularly strong - but it’s not as prevalent in Europe and North America. There might even be an advantage in having dual SIM reserved for the higher specced models that command a higher price and make them that little bit more attractive. Personally I’d love to see dual SIM be a standard feature on the Note 8 and available on every model. Perhaps we’ll know who’s getting a dual SIM option next week when the Note 8 launches on August 23rd.
