Samsung’s big ‘Unpacked; event happens on August 23rd and every indication (including Samsung’s invitation and leaked images) points to the release of the Galaxy Note 8. Yes, the Note 8 has reached the FCC and documentation around the presumptively named Note 8 is now available. Last year’s Galaxy S7 base model was the SM-G930, while the Note 7 model was the SM-N930 (presumably the G is for the Galaxy smartphone and N is the Note range).
