Samsung Electronics announced that it has become the first TV manufacturer to make the new Facebook video app available on all its smart televisions launched after 2015. Launched a few weeks ago on Feb 14, the new Facebook video app for television is now officially available on Samsung's smart TVs including its upcoming 2017 QLED TV. The app can be accessed and downloaded using the Samsung Smart Hub and a one-off Facebook login. Just like on a computer or smartphone, the standalone app enables Samsung television users to search for videos or watch content shared by friends or followed Pages on Facebook. Dates for when the Facebook video app will become available on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV have not yet been announced.
