Developer The Long Field (Market Lavington) Limited has lodged plans to develop land south of The Spring in Market Lavington. If approved, the scheme will involve the construction of 14 new dwellings and a food store which will be operated by Co-op. An outline planning application for the scheme has been submitted to Wiltshire Council but sparked mixed reactions from villagers. He added: “The existing Co-op store is physically constrained and has poor servicing arrangements, and a new store will improve upon this greatly. “We look forward to continuing our conversations with the local community, Market Lavington Parish and Wiltshire Council as the outline application progresses.”
