There is one new case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador Saturday, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 257. According to the provincial government, the new case is in the Eastern Health region. In total, there are 239 cases in the Eastern Health region, eight cases in the Central Health region, four cases in the Western Health region and six cases in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region. As of Saturday afternoon, 5,871 people have been tested for COVID-19—an increase of 286 from Friday— with 5,614 testing negative. The total cases by age:22 cases are under 20 years old.
