A New Brunswick resident from the Edmundston health region has tested positive for COVID-19 while in Quebec, according to the provincial government. The individual was staying in Quebec before they were symptomatic and will remain there until recovered, Public Health said in a release Thursday. According to a spokesperson for Public Health, residents who are diagnosed outside their provincial borders are counted in their home province in order to avoid double counting. Public Health has said the individuals are self-isolating.
